As a certified GOV.UK Verify company, the Post Office provides your identity verification and the way that you log in to GOV.UK services, however we are not directly connected to GOV.UK services. For this reason, if you need any information about a DBS check that you have already requested, please contact the DBS directly on 03000 200 190 or email them via customerservices@dbs.gov.uk.
If you have completed your verification with the Post Office, but haven't yet requested and paid for your DBS check, you can log in and apply for the check using the steps below:
- Go to https://www.signin.service.gov.uk/paused/post-office and select 'apply for a DBS basic check'
- Select 'Continue with Post Office' from the next page
- Provide the login details for your Post Office account
- Enter the security code sent via mobile or app
- You will now be redirected to the DBS web page
