As of the 1st April 2022 it is no longer possible to log in to HMRC Digital Services using GOV.UK Verify. This includes the Personal Tax account, Self Assessment, Universal Credit, State Pension Forecasts and Claiming a State Pension. Government Gateway must be used instead to access these services online. You may have received a letter from HMRC notifying you of the change.
If you need to access HMRC services online please use this link to sign in, set up or recover a Government Gateway account, selecting the green 'Sign in' button to continue: https://www.gov.uk/log-in-register-hmrc-online-services
